In 1961, to show Soviet ‘cultural supremacy’, the Kirov Ballet went on tour across Europe with the sensational Rudolf Nureyev. This is the story of his defection despite the efforts of the KGB to send him back. A portrait of a complex and gifted dancer with beautiful dance scenes.

Films are screened at The Harlington in Fleet every fortnight on Mondays. Everyone is welcome.
