Fleet Half Marathon 2025

Tuesday 7th January, 2025

Everything you need to know about the Fleet Half Marathon which takes place on Sunday 16th March 2025 starting at 9.30am

Fleet Half Marathon is a firm favourite on the running calendar since 1982 and always one of the most popular local community events of the year!

Local running club, Fleet and Crookham AC will once again be hosting the Fleet Half Marathon on Sunday 16th March 2025. The race will begin at 9.30am, starting from Reading Road North and finishing in Calthorpe Park.

The course remains a very gently undulating town centre and local environs road route, perfect for those looking for a PB – last year’s leading times prove this.  The route is well-marshalled with over 120 local volunteers along with several hydration stations. You’ll also be sure of plenty of crowd support with a large section of the course taking in the town centre.

With entry open to anyone 17 years and over, The Fleet Half Marathon really is suitable for runners of all abilities, with a 3-hour cut off limit and pacers spread out at 10-minute times from a 1 hour 30-minute finish. This year, we are also proud to be chosen as a qualifying race for the England Athletics Age Group Masters half marathon race being held in Swansea in June 2025.

The race offers fantastic value for money; only £30 for affiliated athletes and £32 non-affiliated runners. Every runner will receive a bespoke medal, finisher gift and free race photos alongside chip-timed results.

Entries can be made until midnight Sunday 2nd March 2025 via the race website https://fleethalfmarathon.com/  Early entry is advised as the event is often a sell-out and there are no on the day entries. The website also contains further information in answer to many frequently asked race questions.
